Chocolate and Caramel Doughnuts


3 cups cake flour

1 sachet instant yeast

1 and half cup of warm milk

4 tablespoons melted butter/margarine

5 tablespoons sugar

3 eggs

Pinch of salt


mix all dry ingredients in a bowl, create a well inside the bowl and add all wet ingredients, mix until all is incorporated and a dough is formed. Transfer your dough into a lightly floured surface and knead it for 5/6 min until it is not sticky anymore. If mixing in a stand mixer, only knead for 3 min. Shape your kneaded dough into a ball shape and put in a clean oiled bowl, cover with cling wrap/tight lid or table cloth. Store in a warm place for 1hour.

Take out your dough, use your fist to deflate air bubbles. Transfer your dough into work surface and knead for 2 minutes until all the air is deflated. Use your rolling pin to roll oud your dough, roll it out not too thin cos you going to cut out your donut. Use a donut cutter, if you don’t have use a glass to cut out and any small round thing to cut out the center. Put all the cut donuts in a tray.
